Unfortunately over the last week TheCoin.pw has been a target​ to multiple DDoS attacks.

We have been working around the clock to secure our servers and now in the position to say we have mitigated the attacks. TheCoin.pw has upgraded its security to prevent these type of attacks from occurring again in the future.

Once again TheCoin.pw wishes to sincerely apologise to all of our members who experienced outages whilst these attacks were taking place. We really hope to see you mining again in the future.

Thecoin.pw is pleased to announce that all of our mining pools are now equipped with anti-ddos protection, this security improvement is targeted to increase trust and security for members.

TheCoin.pw has suffered from an extremely large targeted network attack, as result of this attack our previous hosting company decided to terminate our account. Since this attack we have located another hosting company containing improved security and have been working hard to recover from the incident. TheCoin.pw hope to have our mining pools up and running as soon as we possible are able to.

So that TheCoin.pw remains current and up to date with popular crypto coins we have now introduced a 60 day idle rule on all of our mining pools. This means if a mining pool has not located a confirmed block in the last 60 days (or more) the mining pool will be closed and a new coin/mining pool will be introduced to take its place.

TheCoin.pw would like to inform members that there is a need for a short maintenance period for our servers. We will do everything in our power to keep the maintenance as short as possible.

The maintenance will take place on Thursday, 19th November 2015 at 07:00 UTC.

The offtime is expected to last no longer than 5 to 15 minutes.

Members please note that stratum ports have recently been modified to include the addition of two new difficulty settings. It is recommended that members check their miner connection settings to ensure that the correct difficulty/port is specified.

TheCoin.pw has undertaken maintenance on our servers to ensure the latest software is utilised and that performance is improved.
